People, ministers, pastors, saints, the wise and the foolish, cast their aspirations and opinions about this matter. They prescribe intellectual explanations as to why healing is not manifesting in Jamaican churches. One such, is that ‘The need is not great‘. Are you saying that the illnesses, suffering and oppression that happen to Jamaican people are no more important than those of the people in the churches of the United States or Nigeria, where there are active healing ministries? Are their needs more important than those here in Jamaica?
Identifying the Myths, Lies and Doubt
The bible says, in
John 3:16-17 ‘16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.’
This is a clear demonstration of the extent of God’s love for humanity. Not just collectively, but He loves you and me as individuals, equally. He cares about our every needs and wants; whether we are hungry, clothed, sheltered, happy, sad, sick or healthy. He cares about whether we have a job and about every other desire in our heart.
