This book is a compilation of poems that I wrote while going through depression. I hope it gives you some understanding of the depressed mind. Some take life for granted and they shouldn’t. Right now, the suicide levels are increasing and the bereaved are left wondering what happened. Grief is often times unbearable and depression is often a result of this.-Poetess Denise Fyffe”

Jamaican Stories about Depression by Denise N. Fyffe

Depression is more common than many of us are aware; though, it is hidden away, like some deep dark secret. It is a natural response to trauma. For some, the emotions overwhelm them and they commit suicide. Depression does not discriminate, stereotype or exercises any prejudice; neither is it unique to any one situation.

Clinical Depression

Getting help for clinical depression is vital. It affects about 16% of persons living in the United States. In Australia, one in four women and one in eight men will suffer from depression. About twice as many females as males report or receive treatment for clinical depression, though this imbalance is shrinking over the course of recent history; this difference seems to disappear after the age of 50–55.

According to the World Health Organization, clinical depression is the leading cause of disability in many countries, and is expected to become the second leading…

First advice, you don’t have to pay to self publish your book. You do have to pay to ship copies to your self, at a reduced cost. The best self publishing companies will give you this option.

This is quite accessible at my first self publishing website, Lulu.com. Unlike Amazon, Lulu allows you to order proof copies before the book is approved for distribution to other third-party bookstores and catalogs. The distribution option is a prime example of the good service that the best self…

The idea for this analysis in, Is the Registry Happy by Denise N. Fyffe, was born out of the direct contact with the Registry staff of a learning organisation. Questions and concerns arose as to the career development exposure of the staff members and the benefits that could be derived from this type of exposure. The overall perspective of the department, from the vantage point of the students and customers is that there are seemingly too many problems and difficulties. Hence, it is of added value to dispel that notion while increasing the capabilities and outlook of the staff.

10 Tips for Maintaining the Discipline of Writing – An Author’s Perspective by Denise N. Fyffe

Where do you find time to write so many books?

Poetry Books by Denise N. Fyffe 3In 2014, I declared that I will bite the self publishing bullet and publish at least one of my manuscripts each month. I did not publish not one self published ebook or paperback in 2014, because I was dealing with illness that would have me in surgery by year end. However, in my recovery bed on January morning, I enacted my commitment. I have since made good on that promise.
