Paris Summer Olympics 2024: Medal Count for July 29, 2024

The current medal count or rankings for the Paris 2024 Olympics shows a competitive start to the games with several countries excelling in various sports. Japan leads the medal table with a total of 12 medals, including 6 golds, 2 silvers, and 4 bronzes. France follows closely with 16 medals, comprising 5 golds, 8 silvers, and 3 bronzes.
China and Australia are also performing well, with China securing 12 medals (5 golds, 5 silvers, and 2 bronzes) and Australia earning 9 medals (5 golds and 4 silvers). South Korea rounds out the top five with 9 medals, including 5 golds, 3 silvers, and 1 bronze.
The United States, despite having the highest total number of medals at 20, ranks sixth due to a lower gold medal count, with 3 golds, 8 silvers, and 9 bronzes. Great Britain, Italy, and Canada are also notable contenders, with Great Britain securing 10 medals, Italy 8, and Canada 5. Other countries making their mark include Hong Kong, Germany, and Kazakhstan, each with multiple medals. The competition remains fierce as athletes continue to strive for excellence and national pride on the global stage.
