Paris Summer Olympics 2024: Who will be in the Women’s 100m Semi-Finals?

The semi-finals of the women’s 100m at the 2024 Paris Olympics will feature a stellar lineup of athletes who have demonstrated exceptional speed and competitiveness in the preliminary rounds.

Leading the charge is Marie-Josée Ta Lou of Ivory Coast, with a standout time of 10.87s, the fastest in the preliminary heats.

Joining her in the semi-finals are top contenders such as Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce of Jamaica, who clocked 10.92s, and Sha’Carri Richardson from the USA, who posted an impressive time of 10.94s in the preliminaries. Other notable qualifiers include Daryll Neita from Great Britain and Melissa Jefferson from the USA, who also posted times under 11 seconds, ensuring a highly competitive semi-final round.

The semi-finals are divided into three heats, each featuring a mix of seasoned sprinters and emerging talents. The first heat will see athletes like Dina Asher-Smith from Great Britain and Ewa Swoboda from Poland, alongside Zaynab Dosso and Shashalee Forbes. The second heat features the renowned Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Sha’Carri Richardson, and Julien Alfred from Saint Lucia.

In the third heat, Daryll Neita and Tia Clayton of Jamaica will compete against other fast sprinters such as Twanisha Terry from the USA and Gina Lückenkemper from Germany.
