Transfer Update: Nigeria youngster set to join Manchester United

Following his departure from Arsenal, Nigerian youngster Chido Obi-Martin is close to agreeing on a move to another English Premier League giant, Manchester United.

The 16-year-old prodigy left the Emirate stadium at the end of his contract in June despite having an agreement with the Gunners.

Chido had a big doubt over his potential pathway into the first-team football and the club’s project.

He feels his career development is best served at a new club.

The hierarchy of Red Devils beat off competition from clubs in Germany to secure the service of the skillful attacker.
