Novlene Williams-Mills, Rosemarie Whyte and Christine Day are Jamaica’s representatives in the 400 metres at the London 2012 Olympics.
All three ladies have made it through to the second round or semi-finals of the 2012 Games and are expected to do their best and represent the country in the finals. Novlene lead most of the way in her heat to take first place; meanwhile both Rosemarie and Christine held on for second place.

According to Wikipedia Novlene Hilaire Williams-Mills (born April 26, 1982), née Novlene Hilaire
Williams is a track and field athlete who competes internationally for Jamaica. She was initially a bronze medalist in the 4 x 400 m relay at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece. Her medal and position for the Athens Games were upgraded on March 15, 2009, by the IAAF, following the disqualification of the USA team because of a doping violation by one of their runners.[1]
At the 2005 World Championships in Athletics, she won (together with Shericka Williams, Ronetta Smith and Lorraine Fenton) a silver medal. At the 2006 Commonwealth Games, she won a bronze medal over 400 meters.
Williams attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, where she was a member of coach Tom Jones’ Florida Gators track and field team. She graduated from university with a bachelor’s degree in 2004.
