The thought of planning each aspect of a wedding ceremony can be quite overwhelming. Getting a bridal gown, selecting a venue, doing a seating chart for your wedding or even deciding on invitations require much patience, planning, and time. Weddings are a very beautiful occasion. Filled with romance and enhanced by the ambiance; set in part by the decorations and colours. The first thing for such an event that your guests will see, is the invitations. This bit of paper will set the stage for your ceremony. It will inform them of the theme of your wedding.
Fall weddings can be unique and very memorable, if planned properly. The colours you choose will compliment the season and leave your guests very appreciative. One of the first decisions in your planning process is to decide on a theme and the colours; as this will be incorporated in almost every aspect of your wedding. Just selecting any old invitation and then on arrival your guests find a different theme, will make them feel uneasy, especially if they dressed to suit the theme.
For your Fall wedding theme, select a specific one; whether it is by the beach, in a garden or a church. Be specific. Then choose your colours that will be used in not only the decorations, table clothes but also the bridesmaids’ gowns or dresses. You do not want to make rash decisions, make its not all the colours of the rainbow. You want your wedding to be unique, but you also want it to be remembered for the right reasons.
Another way to ensure a unique Fall wedding invitation is to make them yourself. To do this you can use a tree leaf design, paper or a computer design template. Get some transparent paper and write the invitations on them. Wedding invitations do not have to be bent, you can have a straight leaf invite as well, and make copies for your guests, printing on different papers. The computer is also another way you can design invitations, there are thousands of design possibilities in doing this. You will options to do classic, traditional, contemporary or themed invites.
If you are using traditional colours of the season, like orange from the pumpkin you can incorporate this on white paper, using black ink. Images can be of hay bales, leaves or pumpkins. This can also dictate the invitation shape. They can be shaped like pumpkins, or leaves. Play around with your ideas, incorporate the things you like about the season, such as carriage rides. Think about the current fall colours or colours that you like; for example baby blue. Picking your colours at the earliest times, allows you to have a specific idea for your theme, invitations and decoration.
