The semis were simply a warm up for Usain Bolt as he made it through easily to the men’s finals in the 100 meters, at the Rio 2016 Olympics. Yohan Blake, second in his semi final with Justin Gaitlin, also made it through. Nickel Ashmeade did not make the cut and will have to sit out the finals this time around.
