Kirani James, was denied by Wayde Van Niekerk of South Africa, who broke the world record with 43.03s. He showed great sportsmanship and supported Niekerk’s victory. The young man from Grenada, truly has highlighted the small Caribbean country and no doubt will continue to be a sports ambassador.
