Ms. Miller ran the race of her life, at the Rio 2016 Olympics, and lead for most of the race; until the last 20 meters, where Allison Felix closed on her, in perfect timing. Miller seeming to be on her last, lent at the finish and ended up taking a dive at the finish line. Shaunae Miller created a dramatic upset and will be going home as the Olympic 400m champion.
Jamaica’s Shericka Jackson will be taking home a well deserved bronze medal, having done a personal best in the semi finals. If her time was repeated, who knows if she would not be on a different part of the podium.
