The men got off early, at the Rio 2016 Olympics, 7:55 a.m. this morning. Jamaican shot put thrower, O’Dayne Richards kept his composure and with his second attempt threw 20.40m. This kept him at 12th place, the mark required to narrowly get through to the finals. Andrei Gag also threw 20.40m, but in his third attempt; as such, he took 13th place.
