Tokyo Summer Olympics 2021: Covid-19 Spreads at 2021 Olympic Games

The Covid-19 virus has altered the lives of billions of people around the world. For over a year, millions of people have either died, gotten sick, or suffered due to the loss of a loved one. That is why it is a BIG risk for anyone who is attending the Tokyo Summer Olympics 2021.

The Olympic Games were originally slated for the summer of 2020.

However, due to the immense probability of death and suffering the games were postponed to this year. Even with thousands of athletes and staff being vaccinated, dozens of athletes and personnel have already tested positive for the virus.

The US Team, it seems, exasperates the sentiments expressed by Japanese citizens, crying out for the games to be canceled, as 100 persons on the team are not vaccinated. Though, this is not of great significance to some, because several persons who were vaccinated have tested positive for Covid-19 in Tokyo.

Here is a timeline of the spread of the virus, up to July 23, 2021 – count over 80:

According to CNN, over 71 athletes have the Covid virus
