Travesty strikes Jamaican 110 metre athlete at the London 2012 Olympics, after ending day three on a super high with a 100 metres win from Usain Bolt and Yohan Blake. Brigette Foster-Hylton hits hurdles and did not qualify through to the next rounds.
Brigette Foster-Hylton is a Jamaican 110 metres hurdle sprinter. She has been competing for many years and this Olympics was to be her swan song as she bows out of competitive hurdles. However, this morning in london, Brigette was dealt a hand in tragedy as she placed seventh with a time of 13.98 in her heats.
If Foster-Hylton had made it through she would have almost been guaranteed a medal for Jamaica, due to her superb performances this season.
