Group A
Brazil go into the 2014 Fifa World Cup as favorites to lift their sixth trophy. There is no doubt that the Brazilian’s go mad for football and as the home nation their is no surprise that they could win it.
Aside from Brazil, Group A could prove to be a close contest. Mexico didn’t qualify with the ease that is expected and got through in a play-off, however lets not forget that they beat Brazil to the Gold medal at London 2012. Croatia are a well-known throughout Europe but it will be interesting to see how they perform on the world stage – Real Madrid’s Luca Modrid will be a key player in them sneaking through with Brazil. Cameroon haven’t looked as solid as they have in the past and I’m tipping them to finish bottom of the group.Group Winner: Brazil
Runner-Up: Croatia
One-to-Watch: Neymar Jr.
Group A Brazil are heavy favourites to lift a sixth trophy in their own country.
