We all love fish, well most of us do. It is a great tasting  and diverse form of seafood that offers you a good amount of protein and other nutrients. Today we give you a tasty recipe in which you will combine the flavor of the tropics with the  taste of the warm tropical seas. Check it out below.

Ingredients

For 6 people

  • 1/4 cup(s) Vegetable Oil
  • 4 cup(s) water
  • 1/4 cup(s) water
  • 1 teaspoon(s) garlic, chopped
  • 1 cup(s) Orange Juice
  • 1/4 cup(s) White Cane Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon(s) Soft Margarine
  • 1 cup(s) flour
  • 1 teaspoon(s) ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1 teaspoon(s) baking powder
  • 6 slice(s) fish fillet
  • 1 teaspoon(s) cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon(s) Black Pepper

Fish with Orange Sauce Directions

Clean and wash fish in a solution of vinegar and water.

Season fish fillets with salt, black pepper, and chopped garlic. Set aside.

Combine flour and baking powder and coat fish fillets. Shake off excess flour.

Heat Vegetable Oil in a skillet and lightly fry fillets until golden brown.

To Make Sauce

Bring Orange Juice to a boil, add grated ginger and cornstarch mixture. Stir and add Soft Margarine and stir until margarine has dissolved.

TO SERVE: Serve fish fillets with Orange Sauce and garnish with orange slices.

Serve with steamed Long Grain Rice, dasheen, breadfruit or yam.
