Its that time again and Jamaicans are on the edge of their seats. You can be assured that a couple hundred thousand of us will be sitting, glued to the television/internet feeds come Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 6:20 p.m. and also when the 100m heats is on tonight August 21, 2015 at 11:40 p.m. Jamaica time.
It is no secret that Jamaicans are anticipating a great show from Usain Bolt, he is the ultimate showman; however, we are keen to consider some contenders for his crown as well. Yes, there were some nervous moments throughout the year, but we know Usain will perform in the final hour. We are also cheering for our golden body Asafa Powell who has been clocking fast times on the circuit this year; and the ladies as well (Veronica Campbell Brown, Shelly Ann Fraser-Pryce etc.)
We expect a good showing by the Jamaica team. Stay Tuned.
