Jamaica will have to rely on Omar McLeod for an Olympic medal in the 110m hurdles semi finals, at the Rio 2016 Olympics. Deuce Carter ran out of lane 2 in heat 1, however, he did not make it through to the semi finals. Carter seemingly threw a minor tantrum and was visibly upset. His race had hurdle mishaps, for himself and the runner from Haiti. While Carter managed to come in sixth, the Haitian finished last.
Andrew Riley was the last of the Jamaican men to complete the 110m hurdles. He looked very ordinary in his heat, exerting minimal effort, and he did not place in the first two guaranteed positions.
