As we say in Jamaica, it was donkey lengths.
Jamaica and USA were worlds away from the other runners, at the Rio 2016 Olympics. It started with a strong leg by Jamaica’s Stephanie Ann McPherson. At the second hand off Jamaica had closed the distance between themselves and the USA.
However, the USA managed to keep at least a two-meter lead until the final leg. Allison Felix and Novlene Williams Mills finished off a great event.
The USA got the gold, Jamaica got the silver and Great Britain secured the bronze.
