So its time for the big cut. Time to get these alien assassins out of my tummy. Thank God! The financial stress is real but my mind is on the surgery itself.
I opted to do the fibroid removal procedure – myomectomy – at St. Josephs hospital in Jamaica…thinking they will be cheaper.
Let’s see if that is really so. Due to delays I arrive about two hours before my procedure, hungry and anxious. I pay my down payment, am admitted and after an hour’s wait – of which I am not amused – I am shown my room.
Then the needles come out, I put my big girl panties on – figuratively, because all I really have on is a thin piece a cloth with my butt out :).
