This collection of poetic expressions highlights emotions and thoughts throughout the grief process; denial, pain, guilt, and anger. These poems are meant to give insight and understanding to those who have experiences in common and can find solidarity in the fact that grief, loss and depression is a shared reality for all.

This book is a compilation of poems that I wrote while going through depression. I hope it gives you some understanding of the depressed mind. Some take life for granted and they shouldn’t. Right now, the suicide levels are increasing and the bereaved are left wondering what happened. Grief is often times unbearable and depression is often a result of this.-Poetess Denise Fyffe”
