The Jamaica Military Tattoo 2012 was kept for four nights, from the June 28 to July 1, 2012. It was hosted at the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) Polo Field inside Up Park Camp. The event was repeated each night to accommodate the large crowds who showed up to view the displays and the booths at the Jamaica Military Tattoo Village.
In terms of the displays, several visiting countries shared their military style and culture with the Jamaicans. In all there would be 850 Jamaica Military Tattoo 2012 performers from various arms of the local and international military and constabulary units. These included
- Jamaica Defence Force
- Jamaica Constabulary Force
- Jamaica Coast Guard
- Jamaica Fire Brigade
- Jamaica Combined Cadet Force
- Guyanese Defence Force Parachuting Team
- Jamaica Defence Force Military Band
- United Kingdom Military Band
- Canada Military Band
- Bermuda Military Band
- Trinidad and Tobago Military Band
- The United States Armed Forces – District of Columbia (DC) National Guard Band
